Microsoft debuts Linux-powered IoT security chips

Microsoft has launched Azure Sphere, a combined software, hardware and cloud security solution aimed at protecting Internet of Things devices. Azure Sphere is open to makers of microcontroller units (MCUs), the integrated circuits that provide compute, storage, memory and an embedded operating system on IoT devices.
